Soft pack lithium-ion battery

Soft pack lithium-ion batteries are simply liquid lithium-ion batteries covered with a polymer shell. The structure adopts aluminum-plastic film packaging, and in the event of safety hazards, the soft pack lithium-ion battery pack will only burst and crack at most.

Soft pack lithium-ion battery packs have good safety performance, unlike steel and aluminum shell cells that can explode.

Lightweight, soft pack batteries are 40% lighter than steel shell lithium batteries of the same capacity and 20% lighter than aluminum shell batteries.

Large capacity, the soft pack lithium-ion battery pack has a capacity 10-15% higher than steel shell batteries of the same size, and 5-10% higher than aluminum shell batteries.

Low internal resistance, the internal resistance of soft pack batteries is smaller than that of lithium-ion batteries. Currently, the minimum internal resistance of domestic soft pack battery cells can be below 35m, greatly reducing the battery's self consumption.

Flexible design, the shape of the soft pack lithium-ion battery pack can be customized according to customer needs, and new battery cell models can be developed.

The existing models of soft pack battery cells are limited and cannot meet market demand, and developing new models is costly.

Hard pack lithium-ion battery

Hard pack lithium-ion batteries are further divided into cylindrical and square types. The difference between hard pack lithium-ion batteries and soft pack lithium-ion batteries is that the external packaging shell is a metal shell, so hard pack lithium-ion batteries of the same volume are much heavier than soft pack lithium-ion batteries.
